Many resources have been developed to assist employers to implement safe work practices. In addition to safety programming and resources developed by NSADSA specifically for New Car Automobile Dealerships, you might want to look at other resources that help support your safety programs.

NSADSA Dealership Safety Compliance Review Program

The NSADSA is pleased to introduce to its members a safety compliance review program.The program offers a safety inspection to any NSADSA dealership wishing to have an inspection conducted.50% of the total cost (Service + Costs) of the service will be funded once by the NSADSA.Presently, all inspections will be conducted by two contracted companies; Palmer Atlanitic Risk Services (http://www.palmeratlantic.ca/) and HSE Integrated Ltd (http://www.hseintegrated.com/).

NSADSA Introductory Curriculum

The Nova Scotia Automobile Dealers Safety Association launched its introductory curriculum on April 9, 2010.
The introductory curriculum has been added to this site to facilitate the development of safety programs within dealerships. Please note that there are a number of templates included in the handbook. These templates can be found as editable word documents on the "Templates" tab of this website.

Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia – “My Account”

WCB-NS’s “My Account” program allows employers 24/7 access to their WCB account, up-to-date claims information, and prevention information. All you need in order to set up your account is a copy of your most recent WCB Statement of Account. This service is offered free to all employers paying WCB premiums in Nova Scotia.
